# The device selector

This panel will inform you about the current connection to any haptic output device. If you attach a Satellite via USB, Hapticlabs Studio will connect automatically. Wireless devices are indicated by a Bluetooth symbol within the dropdown (note that the wireless connection to the Hapticlabs Satellite requires a ⭐   Pro license)

# Selecting between multiple device

If you have multiple output devices available, you can click on the panel and select the device you would like to work with from the drop-down menu.

# Manual satellite selection

In rare cases, the automatic connection to a satellite connected via USB fails. Then, you can click the panel and select the satellite from the drop-down menu that will appear.

# Rename satellites

If you are using multiple Satellite modules it can be usefull to give them a specific name to easily identify them.

# Disconnecting a device

If you want to disconnect a device, you can click the panel and select “-” from the drop-down menu that will appear.

# Connection problems

If your satellite is connected to your computer but does not automatically connect nor show up in the drop-down menu after clicking the panel, please visit support:
