# Hapticlabs AI

Unsure where to start with a new project? Ask Hapticlabs AI to help you by generating tracks based on your description. Explore new ideas and save time in the initial design phase and get inspired for creative haptic patterns!

To get the best results, be specific in your descriptions. After generating a track, you can edit it just like any other track in Hapticlabs Studio.

# Interface

You can invoke Hapticlabs AI by clicking on the "AI generator" button, labeled with a magic wand, in the Track Editor. The AI generator will open in the foreground.

In the center, you can input a short text that describes the interaction, the sentiment, or the topic you want to create a haptic pattern for. Note that the less precise the input, the more abstract the output might be. Mention details like duration, intensity, and any particular sensations you want to convey. Using descriptive language like "sharp," "smooth," or "short" can help the AI better understand your vision.

On the right side end of the interface, you will find the "submit" and "close" buttons. When pressing the "submit" button (or hitting enter), your input will get processed into haptic tracks. This can take a few seconds. When the processing is complete, the generated track will be displayed in the Track Editor. The "close" button will close the AI generator without creating a track.

Next to the "submit" button, you can find a drop-down menu that allows you to select the number of tracks you want to generate. If you generate multiple tracks from a single prompt, each new track will have a slight variation. The amount of variantion will depend in the input prompt.

On the right side of the input field, you'll see a counter that indicates the number of tracks you have generated with Hapticlabs AI and your daily limit. The daily limit is defined by your subscription plan, and your count will reset every 24 hours. Once you reached your daily limit, you will no longer be able to generate tracks with Hapticlabs AI until your count resets.

# Output

Based on your inputs, Hapticlabs AI will generate a track that corresponds to the sentiments, interactions, or themes you provided. Additionally, it will take into account which type of device you are connected to. For instance, the output will only include a limited frequency range if you are using an iPhone, but the full range if a Satellite Module is used.

The generated track will be displayed in the Track Editor. It should give you a starting point to iterate on and refine the haptic pattern. You can adjust the track as you like, add more blocks, or compare it to other tracks.
